Avoid getting in to more debt. Cut costs. Default on anything that isn't required to live (shelter, food, utilities), and keep looking for work.
I'm unloading my two cars to help out my balance sheet (especially since my auto insurance is schedule to go up $1000 a year). It's amazing what you don't need if you can figure a creative way around it. Once our debt's paid off, I won't have to work a job-job ever again.
