im sure there are some creeps working in factory farms and processing plants, but that could be said about literally ANY field. work in any company with a few hundred plus people and you will get a good cross section of society and find there are some people you wouldn't want to be alone with for more than a few minutes! Some people just need a job to support themselves or families and maybe those jobs are easy to get into if you can stomach it and shut your brain off for 8+hrs a day, just as im sure there are plenty of seemingly normal people who it just doesn't bother too much. I have a few friends who are butchers and get in what is basically half of a cow, pig etc, and as people, they are as normal as the next, it just happens to not bother them. I don't think I would last long in a butcher shop, or any longer at a funeral home/ morgue, dentist office, working with kids, barber, assisted living/ hospice type places, even food service...basically any place that includes servicing people as i'm just not very comfortable touching/ being close to people who im not familiar with. some people love being around kids or cutting hair, but what bothers one person doesn't necessarily bother everyone.
