Wash and core several apples and slice, do not peel. Put the apples on a oiled wax paper lined cookie sheet. Place in the oven on low heat, with the door cracked open. Turn over to ensure they dry completely. When apple slices are dry, close the oven door and roast until lightly browned. Cool and store in a tightly closed container. Place several slices in your teapot and fill with boiled water. Steep about 10 minutes. Add honey as needed for sweetener. This tea not only tastes great but is also a good tonic for the kidneys. DLS
