It's only 12 dollars to get the E-book that has a 4 week eating program with pre-written shopping lists, and menus for each day.

I realize some people think It's a waste of money, since you can just look up healthy recipes online and make up your own menus everyday. But for some reason that never works for me!!! I'm the kind of person who has to have structure and follow something very specific like this, because if I leave it up to myself to just "eat healthy" I end up eating junk throughout the week.

Anyways just wanted to get your input on this website. Have you ever heard of it, or possibly tryed the program? I need to lose about 10 lbs.

Thanks guys!

Hi Anna! I've never heard of it or tried it. If you think it's worth the $12, give it a shot.

I scrolled down to look at a sample menu, and at the end for one day:

"Total Calories = 1197"

The bare minimum of calories per day for a woman is 1200. Most need more than that. Does it adjust the calories depending on what your weight goal is?

I get a bad feeling from looking at the website. There's a lot of "this program is great! Buy Now! Don't think about it, just buy it!". If you can afford to waste 12 dollars, however, it's not a big deal. You can let us know what it's like. I could be wrong, maybe it's a great program.

Elena, I noticed that... A lot of the days the calories were less than 1200, although that didn't include the snacks it allowed you to eat. And under the snack options, they have a list of how many snack calories you should eat depending on what you want to weigh.

I agree, the sight doesn't look all that professional. But I thought hey, 12 bucks for 4 weeks of telling me what to eat every single day, I'll try it! lol. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the input...

I actually didn't like sparkpeople.com. The one time I was on it, I couldn't find anything close to the food selection that I needed. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

You can input your own food selections. I've cataloged most of my kitchen and everything is just a click away

If you're trying to lose weight, you're supposed to have less calories than what you usually have. And if that still wasn't enough, then she can make up the next 3 calories by having some fruit or whatever else she fancies.

I'm just saying, it doesn't sound that horrible

I did some research on sparkpeople and entered the exact info from a few of my clients and sparkpeople was WAY below the calories these people needed to achieve their goals. The clients I used are ALL successful so I am very confident that sparkpeople lacks in total energy (food) needed.

IMO!
