Hi there, my name is Antonia and I have been a vegetarian for 9+ years. I became vegetarian when my now boyfriend, then friend, showed me a video of abused animals. It was horrific and disgusting. I had just finished eating a turkey sandwich when I decided to go vegetarian. I realized I just had NO right to ever harm an animal again. I always loved animals and had such a soft spot in my heart for them. As much as I do not want to harm humans, I do not want to harm animals either. I feel like it is inhumane and unjust.

Let me tell you, I LOVED meat before turning vegetarian, so when I hear people say "oh but I'll miss chicken sooo much" I just want to roll my eyes. I understand that it may seem like a hardship, but if people really knew how much HARM and cruelty they were supporting, I truly hope they would forgo that one simple pleasure.

I feel like being vegetarian has let me explore some of nature's greatest gifts--things that I seemed to forget about when I ate meat.

I have always been in love with food & cooking. It has been a wonderful outlet for me to come home from a stressful day and prepare a meal. I am only 22 years old, but I have always had an "old" soul and have always loved making things for others. Cooking is my way of showing my love.

I started a food blog just a few months ago. Of course, everything is vegetarian on it. There are also vegan options as well as gluten-free options (over 100 recipes!). I hope that you guys check it out and find something that works for you.

pm me for the address

Thanks for reading my story
