So I'm a bit of a sucker for combat boots and military stuff. Of course, these boots are leather. I found a bunch of surplus from the vietnam war that are not being manufactured anymore, so they're practically antiques. I'm hesitating a little bit to buy these, because I don't really know what to think of it. What would you guys think of buying leather combat boots or a survival knife with a leather sheath if they're from 1967? I would appreciate some feedback!

it depends on the person. some people are okay with buying leather things if it's resale or are okay with leather gifts. some people are against all leather in all ways possible...you just have to decide how important it is to you.

I think the Buddha said something like "Its not cool to kill, but if the beast was killed by another, not for you, and you are begging for alms, it ok to eat what is given"<br>
Wow, that must be a little off,.. anyone know the actual quote? Please set me straight.
