Here's a very anti-vegetarian website I found whilst surfing. It has a lot of fun "facts" such as this:

wow, its best to just ignore them. what site is it?

also theres sufficent evidence that a vegan diet stops a lot of autoimmune diseases from even occuring. also, a diet low in saturated is good for you. *BIG SIGH* no matter what we do the pro meat eaters will never listen to reason

I do the same. It makes me so angry that they tell all of these lies when you know there are people out there believing it. But it is funny just how wrong and absurd this stuf is.

my favourite quote from that page. Pure absurdity considering that the scientific report talks about EXCESSIVE fibre and not normal fibre intake.

this is just odd... i am part of a healty eating club at my work. The majority of participants are women. I always have a bean burger on whole grain flat bread with lettuce, tomato and sprouts and what ever veggies I have. It looks and smells so much better than the "diet frozen meals" Now most of the members have stocked the freezer with morning star sausage patties and bean burgers. The ladies all eat "veggie" at least two meals a day, and they have all lost weight and have dropped BP and cholesterol. I am by no means a nutrititionist, but when they saw how good my meals looked compared to "frozen diet turkey" they wanted to try it. I don't discuss my vegetarinaism unless asked. I offered samples of what I was eating and they loved it. -side bar- I saw my doc. last month and had some blood tests. High cholesterol and diabetes runs on both sides of my family. My tests came out great. My doctor said that with a family history like mine, it is good that I eat the way I do.
