Very nice, it does get the point across. This will be my first winter needing boots (since I'm further north this year). I was worried about shopping for boots that would hold up to the snowy weather and extreme cold, but my boyfriend is a champ and he's been hunting down some vegan boots for me as an early Christmas gift.

I like this, I don't think a lot of people think about their footwear as animal cruelty, unlike how fur is common knowledge.

I know! I was one of those people at one point and I'm ashamed.
I honestly thought they just shaved the sheep for interior of Ugg boots!
Every girl (some guys too) have atleast one pair of Uggs in my area...they are EXTREMELY popular.

Animal cruelty aside, I have never understood why all these girls want to have the exact same pair of shoes that everyone else has. Nothing wrong with following the styles of the times, but literally, the exact same brand and type of shoe? Stupid stupid.

Well, a few years ago it was like that everyone has basically the same boot different color.
But now there are TONS of different styles, patterns, etc.

I hated the look of them, but I had to agree that they were comfy. Can't be comfortable knowing full well where/who they are really from though!!
Anyone know of snuggly boots made of natural material out there?...I am trying to stay away from synthetic b/c of the environmental costs of that.

I bought some synthetic ugg-style boots last year and my first time wearing them my feet were completely soaked and cold Maybe the real ones don't do this, but if they did, I would never buy them(Animal cruelty aside, wouldn't buy them anyway )

Yeah, even real Uggs aren't meant to get wet.

I'm glad you're doing this, Jessickah. I don't know why these boots are so popular. In the summer, when it is 100 degrees F, I see girls wearing them with short shorts and tank tops. It's ridiculous. I hate the way they look, and I hate the way they're made.
