Enough with the tofu you all say!<br><br>
Anyhoo!<br><br>
I love tofu, but ive only ever seen one brand. Cauldron organic from the fridge bit. Its about £1.70 for er, not much. A pack about the size of a CD and an inch thick of just the plain stuff. which i thinks a bit pricey<br><br>
Ive never seen another brand, so does anyone know where to get it?!<br><br>
Tried a few tescos, asda + holland&barrett, they all sell cauldron and thats it. I want cheap [cries]. I live in Bristol but dont care about travelling a bit long as theres something else to do there, and i guess most places in the uk are the same? the tescos near me has a huge ethnic section, but nope no cheap tofu =(<br><br><br><br>
wow i always want to ask short things but somehow end up typing loads

Cauldron is mostly what's in the markets here, but Waitrose, and our hfs also sell Taifun: <a href="http://taifun-tofu.de/en/" target="_blank">http://taifun-tofu.de/en/</a>. It's a bit cheaper, but I think the package is smaller as well. (but it tastes better, imo)<br><br><br><br>
Is there an Asian market near you anywhere? It might be pricey there as well, but it's worth a shot.

I've only seen cauldron too (except whatever brand of silken tofu the HFS near me sell) but if you're not bothered about the organic stuff cauldron also do one not labelled organic that is a little cheaper. I tend to stock up only when morrisons are selling it two for 99p.
