Good afternoon,

I am putting together a public relations campaign for the Humane Society of the United States for my final graduate school project. I am emailing requesting that you complete a survey my team developed to identify demographics, attitudes, actions and engagement of animal rights supporters.

I understand that some might not be concerned about animal welfare issues. No problem. Just answer the questions honestly and your feedback will still be valuable. But please, do not give inaccurate or joke responses.

Because we only have a week to conduct primary research, we have to rely on convenience sampling. So, I really appreciate your help. If you know of anyone else who might take the survey, please forward them the link below.

Please click on the link below to access the survey. It should only take approximately 10 minutes of your time.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZJHW8TN

Done. Curious what others selected for the question of "would your decision to patronize companies be swayed by their ethical treatment of animals?" I picked yes, even if it costs more.

I did too. I have no problem spending $12 for humane shampoo, I'd very easily go to a 200% mark up for humane/environmentally friendly products.

I said yes. There are places I won't shop now because of things they do or support (wal-mart, starbucks) and I often spend more for humane products.
