During the upcoming school year, be and my friend want to start an animal advocacy club. We're thinking of presenting issues such as animal testings, vivisections, cruelty of meat, dairy, and fashion, and entertainment industry, etc. We would write letters to various companies that test on animals, introduce cruelty-free alternatives, and watch videos. Also though we want to convert omnis to vegetarianism, in our club we wouldn't impose it. Instead we would just present the issues and let people make up their own minds. what do you guys think?

Sounds like a good standard formula for spreading awareness quite simply! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

That's a real cool idea. At my school, we have the "Animal Protection Club", which I'm a part of. We do a lot of fundraising, and a fair amount of awareness stuff. But I'm hoping to do more with that all next year, too. I think you can also register your group with PETA, and get grants or supplies for different things. It's pretty cool.
