Civil Rights: Excellent

Economy: Good

The Dictatorship of Tame is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-working population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Religion & Spirituality, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 23%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Gambling.

Crime is a problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Tame's national animal is the dawg, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the tricks.

The Protectorate of Oatland is a tiny, economically powerful nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The small, corrupt government concentrates mainly on Religion & Spirituality, although Commerce and Education are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 5%. A healthy private sector is led by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales, Gambling, and Soda Sales industries.

Crime is a serious problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Oatland's national animal is the ant, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the groat.

The Grand Duchy of Derchambour is a very large, economically powerful nation, renowned for its burgeoning un-animal population. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 149 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The medium-sized, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Healthcare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 14%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Book Publishing and Arms Manufacturing.

Derchambour's children are widely acknowledged as the most foul-mouthed in the region, meat is a luxury afforded only to the wealthy, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, and young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables. Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Derchambour's national animal is the un-animal and its currency is the coup.
