Amazing Italian Meatballs

Category: Raw Foods

Suitable for a: vegan diet

Ingredients:

------------------------------------------------------

12 oz. white button mushrooms

3/4 c. walnuts

2 T. Italian seasoning

1 t. garlic powder

1 t. celtic sea salt

1 small red pepper

1 small tomato

Instructions:

------------------------------------------------------

Blend all the ingredients together in the food processor. Drop them on the teflex sheets in little "meatball size" balls. (They won't form a real ball.) Dehydrate overnight.

I make a marinara and pour it over the meatballs and they are delicious!

*The batter looks very light, but darkens to look like meat after they dehydrate.

Yummy!!! I still do not own a dehydrator, but I'm getting in two weeks!
i decided i am making these tonight, and serving them with some squash pasta...yumm
i did make these and they are great!!! i added a little red pepper flake (because my mom puts it in her meatballs and i wanted these to taste like home) and they turned out so so yummy. thanks for the recipe!!
I'm currently trying to make these, i just bought a dehydrator simply cause of this recipe (so now can finally do others as well) and all the ingredients.

I have a question though, can i use tinfoil in place of triflex? oiled up with virgin olive oil

Don't use foil. use parchment paper if you do not have the teflex sheets..
Then spiralize some small zucchini and serve the "meatballs" and marinara over top.. Add a touch of nutritional yeast and who needs the old version of Spaghetti and meatballs..
