Have you lost weight? That tends to cause you to be cold because you've lost some of your "insulation."

Try eating more. Vegetarian food can tend to have fewer calories.

I actually tend to stay a lot warmer than my boyfriend even though he's an omni and bigger than me, I figure it's a combination of moving around a lot and eating a lot

I'm a polar bear trapped in a human body. Going vegetarian hasn't changed that Even well below freezing, I wouldn't even bother turning on the heat if there weren't normal people in the same house. Summer, on the other hand. That's the season that gets me. One of the reasons I was so happy to move away from Las Vegas was the $400 per month air conditioning bills that came with keeping the thermostat way low in the desert. Replace that with winter in Montreal, and I'm a happy man. I blame it on my ridiculous metabolism. I eat... a lot. That and spending long periods of time in remote parts of Alaska as a kid.

I have the same problem, but like you I've ALWAYS had this problem. I just make sure to bundle up and cuddle in to some blankets. I also try to keep the heat in my house up a bit because my one kitty cat is 14 years old and only weighs 5lbs, so she gets cold easily too.

Best of luck keeping warm this winter!

I have a boyfriend who is like a furnace. That helps my cold issues. The other morning, we woke up, I had the heated mattress pad turned on where I was laying, his side was turned off and my feet were STILL colder than his. My core is always super toasty, it's the extremities that are tough to warm up.

Are you eating a lot more soy products these days? I read that too much soy can cause thyroid problems, but taking kelp/iodine supplements can resolve this. Good luck!

I have always had a problem of being cold, and i get way more than enough calories. I haven't noticed going vegetarian hanging that, though. I just shiver and my teeth chatter really easily.
