An article regarding the recent water situation in California, and looking at how a plant-based, vegan lifestyle can be best for the environment as well as health.

If you have any more articles or info about plant-based lifestyles and water/the environment, feel free to share them.

There have been more articles coming out recently, and it sure looks like alfalfa is far too often over-looked as a significant reason why so much water is being displaced from California. Curious how they rarely even mention the impact of animal-based agriculture on water consumption....

That was such a disjointed site--I don't understand. There were good links, but what's up with almonds and beef? They don't seem to be comparing them, but continue to throw out links to water used in almond production without a connection.
Just think that's weird

Almonds have been getting plenty of flack over the past year or two regarding their water use in CA, but meat and dairy have hardly had any negative attention, until recently. The infographic shows beef using about 2500 gallons of water to produce a pound of product, compared to less than 400 gallons per pound of almonds. The point is just that beef should at least be addressed as a major user of California's water and to lay off of the almond, as well as to draw attention to other sources of information regarding agriculture and water use in CA.
