I watched All My Children for over 20 years, but quit watching this past winter. I found that it got so boring....so it was a good time to stop (which I had wanted to do for a long time). I even went to their fan club luncheon in NYC in September, which was a total ripoff. But I had the fortune of meeting Josh Duhamel a few times (he did some appearances for a 9/11 charity in NYC).....now he's hit the big time with a show on NBC and a movie (he was chosen over Ben Affleck and Hugh Grant I read somewhere). He is super nice in person...and cute as hell .
I agree that All My Children has gotten dull. They got rid of so many good characters, then brought in crappy ones. The whole Fusion thing was old before it even started. Now with summer, the teen story lines will be even worse.

I was really upset that they killed off Leora. With parents like David and Anna, she could have grown up to be an awesome character.

I am happy though that they are bringing Ryan back.

Anyone watch Port Charles, One Life to Live or General Hospital?

I'm sorry, even thought I stopped watching, I'm very curious....how did they kill off Leora? Is Ryan coming back permanently (he'll still be played by Cameron I assume?).
Leora had heart problems. She died during surgery to put in a pacemaker. David blames Joe and Tad Martin for it.

Oh and here is something interesting that I figured out on Friday. Jacks blood donor is going to be Greenlee because of a new twist that connects them....
Oh, it is going to be Cameron playing Ryan. I have no idea though if it will be permanent or even how soon it is happening. I imagine he'll be back for Chris's funeral or something along those lines, but that's just a guess.
I used to watch all the ABC soaps, but i don't have the time for it now...

I pop in to catch up every once in a while, but I'm usually pretty annoyed by them these days.

I started watching General Hospital 28 years ago....

One Life to Live is probably the most interesting one.

I only recently started getting interested in AMC.

Port Charles doesn't air here...
I'm hoping that Brian Gaskill (Rafe) gets to revive his role as Bobby Warner on All My Children. It's possible that the characters Jack, Allison and Chris will get put on General Hospital. Lynn Herring (Lucy) might be moving to a soap on another channel.
Whenever I'm bored, I tune into "General Hospital". Curse that show for being so addictive! I can't stand the dramatics of stupid Erica Kane, so I can no longer stomach "All My Children".

The beauty of soaps, is that you can tune in after four months of not watching and know what's going on. The storyline never changes, much.
