Hey, this has never happened to me before, but I seem to have gotten a scratch right on top of my nipple. I have no idea how. It isn't bleeding, but more looked a little raw. It is a little scratch. I put bacitracin on it last night, when i noticed it and put a band-aid over it for sleeping. Right now I am just wearing a bra it looks better now and doesn't hurt as much. I don't know how I got it. My nipple was a little itchy yesterday. I scratched it a little bit. And then I noticed the scratch last night. Has this happened to anyone?

Owwww. That exact same thing happened to me before. I didn't know how it happened either. I thought it could've been because my skin was just dry or something. Just keep it moisturized and protected, I guess.

Maybe you had a rough nail or something and cut yourself when you scratched yourself and didn't notice. I've totally done that before.

My guess is the skin split on its own. Chances are if you did while itching, it would have hurt and you would have noticed, and it probably would have bled..

More likely the skin just got dry and separated. Just keep it protected and keep an eye on it. Chances are it'll close right up and you'll never know it was ever within the week.

Aaahhh - - that can hurt so much. I was holding my cat in a tank top once (me in the tank, not the cat ) , when a beautiful Doberman came into view. . . . I think you can guess the rest. It hurt like hell (!!), but it did heal pretty quick. I didn't put anything on it, I just made sure to keep it clean. I am getting shivers and stomach flip-flops just thinking about it now.
