yes-- your body cannot digest them. grinding right before consuming is best, however, you can also buy preground in most stores. make sure you refrigerate the bag for best quality and to prevent the ground seeds from becoming rancid. flax oil is also good but needs to be refrigerated as well.

you can use a coffee grinder to grind them up.<br><br><br><br>
or you can soak them for a while and then eat them whole.

thanks for all your replies, I ended up buying a grinder it only cost 20$ canadian, so the cost was really no biggie<br><br><br><br><br><br>
