Just one more reason to limit plastic use, and never, ever put any plastic in a microwave. Ever.

As far as I could see (I only scanned the article) the results are all on the basis of animal tests on mice and rats. There are MANY things that are harmful to animals that are fine for humans. I am not saying this is the case but maybe it is not as bad as it seems. I think testing on animals can sometimes yield inaccurate results (as well as being miserable for the animals) so maybe these results are skewed.<br><br><br><br>
I do think we should limit plastic as it is petroleum based--and I never microwave in plastic. But I can't get frightened about another thing just yet--I've got too many other things to be worried about allready.
