I heart hummus. Does anyone know anyone who does not like hummus? I think an appreciation thread needs to be started! It's the best thing ever. Often make it for myself but always without a recipe so will give this one a go.

I make Sun-dried tomato hummus adding sun-dried tomato pesto from Trader Joe's... is delicious!

Hummus is much better than mayonnaise or veganaise as a spread for sandwiches and wraps because it adds fiber in addition to other nutrients.

I made this today, it had a nice consistancy but way to much garlic for me. I used 4 cloves as suggested, but maybe the cloves I had were larger or something, next time I would only use 2 maximum.

For a quick meal, thin this out with water slightly and serve with spaghetti. Yummy!

I use watered-down hummus for salad dressing sometimes.

I found if I use curry in it, it tastes just like egg salad when chopped celery, green peppers and diced onions are added.
