Daggy it may be....I want to know about anyone's interests in cult 80's films, cool 80's music, fashion and actors/actresses. To start off, my favourite 80's films are The Lost Boys, The Goonies, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire and Stand By Me. Favourite 80's actors/actresses:

Yea pretty much all of what John Hughes did in the '80s was gold. I wonder how he went from the Breakfast Club to Home Alone 3 over time though, that's insane. I totally have a thing about Molly Ringwald though, always have. I'd just like to touch her hair (ok that sounded creepier than I intended)<br><br>
I think that '80s' is a phrase misused often to refer to big hair, silly falsetto and lots of spandex. Most of the music from the '80s that I like doesn't conform to your stereotypical 'lol80s' image. Black Flag =/= Twisted Sister, for example!

I completely agree! John Hughes was a legend of his field. I was devastated when he died. I know! Molly's hair is just so....lush hahaha. She is still gorgeous today. I tend to ignore people who say 'eeew...80's' or think it just means 'dress up in fluroescent clothes' pathetic. They dont understand *sigh* Go Tears For Fears!

I loved the 80s and continue to do so.....my close friends say I am stuck in the 80s and I am hippie and proud about that...<br><br>
My fave movies are ANY and ALL starring my absolute fave of all time Corey Haim....Cause I Heart Corey Haim<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"> of Course... and I loved Corey Haims 1987 Tv Show Roomies also.....Of Course...LOL.<br><br>
Pretty In Pink is another fave movie of mine....I love James Spader Andrew Mcarthy, Molly Ringwald.<br><br>
I LOved Punky Brewster and soooo much more but I am Uber sleepy...long day!! will write more later on.<br><br>
My fave band of all time is Poison.....I love C.C. Deville and his Pink Hair.<br><br>

okay okay Corey Haims movies (NOT FELDMAN NEVER FELDMAN) are my absolute fave always but I also liked....<br><br>
dirty dancing, ghostbusters, my fiancee likes top gun, the back to the future movies, ferris buellers day off, (save Ferris...LOL),<br>
I like breakfast club, princess bride was good too.<br><br>
I loved 21 Jump Street & Booker....Richard Grieco Rocks!!, Murphy Brown, My Sister Sam, Double Trouble, Different World, Doogie Howser, Mamas Family, Small Wonder, Alf, Quantum Leap, Night Court, Silver Spoons, Out of This World, Golden Girls.....and soooo many more....<br><br>

I grew up (ok, ok came of age) in the 80's. In 1980 I started the *cough, cough* grade, and in 1987 I graduated. I won't say from where, just that I graduated.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":rolleyes:"><br>

Movies: ET (my first movie in the theater), The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Neverending Story, Legend, The Bride, Starman, Tron, The Last Starfighter, Cocoon, Splash...and tons more that I can't remember right now...lol<br><br>
Music: Adam Ant, Duran Duran, INXS, Midnight Oil, Wham, Thompson Twins, The Dream Academy, a-ha, Big Country , Howard Jones, Oingo Boingo, Ziggy Marley, Johnny Clegg and Savuka, Depeche Mode, Julian Lennon, Eurythmics, and on, and on, and on. I still listen all of these bands too...lol.

no way and not to me....hehe<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":p">.....to me there is only ONE Corey and thats my Haimster....he is my Canadian Cutie Corey<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">......My bestie Trace was/is the Feldman fan and we have been fighting bout this since we were 10 years old....lol....we used to rip the posters out of bop and all the other mags ect apart....I got my Haimster and she got the other guy.....<br><br>
other faves of mine from the 80s were the magazines.....bop, teen beat, tiger beat, I used to buy any and all that had any mention or poster of my Corey Haim<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"><br><br>
other music I liked was Prince and Whitney Houston.<br><br>
I also liked River Phoenix.....he was such a great vegan activist and actor.<br><br>
another fave of mine was/is Andrew Koenig he played boner on growing pains and was an awesome vegan activist/humanitatian.
