A lot of you were so kind as to offer advice, words of encouragement ,etc..

when I posted my concerns about starting college at my age last semester,

so I am posting an update.

I love college!

It has truly been a fantastic experience and has opened up a whole new

world. The "young'uns" weren't too sure of what to make of me in the

beginning, but by semester's end, I had made quite a few friends.I met

a lot of bright, hard working kids, who would make any parent proud. Some

asked me what I was doing there, and it was wonderful to be able to

share my story and encourage them to keep on.

I took your advice, and with a lot of hard work, this old gal managed to

pull in a 4.0 GPA, and make the dean's list!

Thanks again..

That's great! When I was taking college classes during high school, I always ended up making friends with people who were my parents' age. It was like the youngest and oldest people in the class banded together. I was kind of disappointed when I came to the private school I'm at now and have only met one non-traditional student.

I really respect what you're doing. I don't think I could handle going to school and having a home life. It's so much work as it is, and schoolwork is all that's required of me. You're awesome.

congratulations. but i dont understand. i see adults and even senior's taking lots of college courses up here in Canada. In fact, in my entrepreneurship class, there is a lady in her sixties and a man in his fifties.

either way, that is amazing

Clearly you are not going out drinking and staying up until 4am enough. Now do you want the entire college experience or not?
