4. How can I lose weight - lost money in bunch of medicines?

hi fellas, I am 24 years old but I look elder than my age because of my weight which is 210 pounds. I did so many efforts to get rid of obesity. I wasted a lot of money on different expensive medicines but it didn’t work for me. I don’t know how people lose weight by the help of different medications because I don’t even lose a single pound by using a bunch of expensive medicines. Instead, it affected my health in a bad way. I am facing serious health issues because of the usage of high potential medicines. Now I realized that it is just a wastage of money and injurious to health. But I still want to get in shape like normal girls of my age without wasting money on medicines. I don’t want to play with my life anymore by taking useless Wight loss medicines. I want to ask how can I get a perfect figure by doing different natural home remedies or suggest me any healthy diet plan with simple exercise which helps me out to get rid of obesity.

Weight loss

I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with your weight and health! It is so frustrating and personally I have never met a person where pills or even surgery was successful long term.

The great thing is you sound ready to tackle the weight and you can absolutely do this! It will take some commitment but the payoff is so worth it. You can have a healthy trim body...your "perfect" body is your natural figure. Its there!

I lost some weight in my youth and that combined with going veg was the best thing I ever did for myself, I am 2x+ your age and I have done long distance running and even climbing for decades now....I feel my aging has gone very smoothly. I am more fit now than most young people, I eat what I want and my weight has been stable.

So that's my pitch :)

I can help you get started if you like, but I would need a bit more information:

What is your health struggle/concern?
Current medications?
What is you overall diet and eating habits (3 meals a day w/snacks? Late night snacker? etc)
What is your living situation (w/family, roommate?) & work or school schedule?
Do you have any cooking experience?
Do you have any physical limitations outside of weight/fitness level?
What do you see as your biggest challenges to losing weight?
Are you currently at your max weight and please provide your height.

You can PM me if you would like to keep this information private.

Take care!

You Can Succeed!

You're clearly ready for a change. The good news is, you don't need medicines or anything like that to lose weight. I've lost 68lbs without ever taking a "diet pill". The solution: hard work and determination. Now I know, there are moments where you feel like you'll never succeed, and that you "just don't have what it takes". But you can succeed! I felt the same way, and yet here I am - at a healthy weight for the first time that I can remember.

The key to losing weight is simple: eat less calories than you burn each day. Now that's simple to say, but it obviously takes serious changes to do. However, if you follow through on this, you are guaranteed to lose weight! As you would expect, exercise plays a big role. When you exercise, you burn more calories - which means you will lose weight faster. So plan out and exercise routine that is hard, but reasonable for you. Start keeping track of your calories, figure out how many you burn each day by googling "daily calorie intake", and eat less than that number. How much less? To lose 1 lb. a week - 500 cal less. 2 lbs = 1000 cal less. It will be hard. You will have to be disciplined and dedicated. But if you turn that frustration into motivation, you will succeed!

P.S. Tomorrow, I'm going to be posting my weight loss story on my blog - veggienovelist.com . There are a lot of pieces to weight loss, and I really go into detail about them in my story. If you want to learn more, check it out!

There are several choices out there for diets to follow. My advice, choose one and stick to it.

For me, it helped to use a fasting type of diet for the first week and then use smoothies as my lunches. I have cut more than 35 pounds by skipping breakfast, having a huge smoothie and some watermelon or another melon for lunch, then eating a large plant-based dinner. I also exercise daily.

Medications are not good for your body and most should not be called medicine as they are closer to poison. It's best to let food be the medicine.

My guess, if you watch your diet and get moving every day in some way or another, you'll see great, sustainable results in a matter of months. It's not a quick fix, but most of the best things are not quick fixes.
I have seen many people insanely following ad hoardings to lose weight fast. The promises made are foolishly impossible yet people fall prey to such claims. Most of these end up inflicting worst of the possible consequences. The body needs your dedication and hard work to lose weight. In fact, medicines make you put on more weight with additional health risks. So include fiber, green vegetables, eat smaller portions of food, and start walking, running, or take up a sport that will make you sweat.
