Who was the mother of your milk? The source of milk is no big secret: it comes from cows. But most of us never think about the mothers of 'our' milk. We grow up assuming that cows are made to be milked—that they have a constant supply of milk and even that they need to be milked to relieve the...

Hello Friends! I'm starting my vegan journey! So I have many questions i'd like to ask but for now i'm just asking one. Can I eat things that have the "may contain" "allergy" label? e.g: may contain milk, eggs, etc. Or do I avoid those? What do you guys do? Do you eat things that say may contain...

I like almond milk but every brand i check it has lot of preservatives added to it like calcium carbonate, potassium citrate, gellan gum etc. I checked various brans in walmart like great value, silk etc. All have these ingredients. Does anyone know of any brand without preservatives.

So I have been a vegan for about a month. I cannot believe I've only recently realized the error of my previous ways, but I'm having a great time and I love the opportunity to talk about it with people who are curious about my new lifestyle. Anyway, I work at a restaurant and I was telling our...

I mean, it does fits within the definition as the animal's consent is not really important to farmers, but is there any psychological damage done to them that way? I've seen some videos of cows being inseminated and, while I found it to be really gross, it didn't seem like the cow was protesting...

I've recently found out that a lot of milk is not free range, and given that my reasons for being vegetarian are in part to do with the living conditions of the animals, I've stopped having milk since I found this out. Just have a few questions for anyone who can help :) Is organic milk made...

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I followed a really good soy milk/tofu recipe on YouTube and the first time it came out perfect. Since then I am having problems making soy milk and the soy milk won´t coagulate at all. I have been using a lime/water combo as the coagulant and I´ve...

Hi, I'm new here. I'm 18 and currently at university and although I've tried lots of soya/almond/hazelnut/rice/oat/coconut milks since I was 10, I was curious about which soya milk you prefer. I do prefer to have unsweetened almond milk in porridge or gluten free cereal (I'm gluten intolerant)...

I have read a lot about how animal products are bad for you, and have also ready plenty of things stating the...
