|James N. Dawson||It's a good step in the right direction. Maybe it'll encourage some people to take some further steps. I suppose I could take some further steps myself.|

|Citrus333||Thanks, David. This is interesting. I hadn't heard about it. I'll pass the info along to friends in and near Atlanta (a few of whom are vegetarian or semi-vegetarian).|

Good news, thanks for sharing.
I once heard it said that KFC is the company that has caused most suffering in the history of the world. At first it sounded wrong but when I thought about it...it might be plausible.

Kentucky Fried Chicken vegan "chicken"
United States: Starting tomorrow, August 27, Kentucky Fried Chicken will be serving vegan "chicken" entrees at one of its Atlanta, Georgia restaurants. If successful, KFC will consider offering this option nationwide.
Note: The sauces are not vegan, and I imagine that KFC will be deep-frying the veg-chicken in the same fryer as the actual chicken. Like other Beyond Meat offerings, the vegan KFC "chicken" is primarily intended for omnivore customers. According to Beyond Meat, 90% of veg-meat consumers are omnivores: https://www.self.com/story/impossibl...er-beyond-meat . This is a good thing! We want people to eat more plants and less meat.
