I had my usual favorite breakfast: rolled oats with fruit! This time the fruit was grapefruit... which was unconventional, but still good. Lunch: Every other weekend or so, I cook a batch of some dried bean: garbanzo, white (navy, great northern), kidney, pink... and freeze portions of them to thaw out and use in other dishes. This time it was garbanzo beans, added to frozen chopped spinach, instant white rice, a bit of vegetable oil, and about a teaspoon of Adobo(?) all-purpose seasoning (it has MSG, among other things.. ![]() |

Breakfast: basmati rice with soy sauce, ginger, turmeric, snow peas, and broccoli. Matcha tea. Lunch: cold chickpeas with salt and pepper, a blood orange, and a cameo apple. Coffee. Dinner: brown rice pasta spirals in tomato sauce with fingerling potatoes and broccoli, two slices of sprout bread toast with french mustard, and a banana. |

A baked white potato and very small baked sweet potato with a bit of light vegan "butter", a veggie burger (from Lidl, a little greasy so I pressed a paper napkin on it to absorb as much oil as I could) and some steamed broccoli. Later I had 2 1/2 PB&J sandwiches, and I've drank just water, will probably have some herbal tea soon, day's rainy and rather cold today so it's perfect for warm drinks. ![]() |

Ok so its Happy Hour. My GF and I do like our Beer. Appetizer: Blue corn Tortilla chips and some (really really) hot homemade salsa. Dinner: Ramon Noodles, Baked potato, topped with black beans, Green and sweet peppers, Organic Broccoli florets, Yes some more coleslaw, diced tomatoes, and cucumbers with Italian dressing. Desert - Some frozen gluten-free strawberry, banana cream bars. Oh wow is this salsa hot. Time for another beer, before we have dinner. |

This thread is always pretty full of healthy eating, but I thought it might be useful for transitioners to show a less healthy day, and I have one planned for tomorrow, so here goes: 11-2: peanut butter and pickle sandwich, orange juice, baby carrots 2 - 5: chili dog made with Smart hot dogs, buns, and canned vegetable chili, topped with Go Veggie American cheese slices and red onions 5 - 9: shredded spaghetti squash tossed with homemade pizza sauce and boca imitation meat crumbles, spinach salad with mandarin orange olive oil dressing 9-11: drink of soy milk, nutritional yeast, and banana |
