QiTian @silva sorry - only just checked in here and saw this! Been off for a while

I haven't done a lot of French cooking, as it's not my favourite cuisine. I've made a great vegan creme caramel (which was surprisingly easy) and a delicious fruity clafoutis as well. I didn't end up getting good photos of either. So they never ended up on the blog

Closest I got was Guadeloupe, which is a Caribbean Island but French colony -

Not that French, although my chokoe gratin recipe is quite French if you sub out the chokoe for the more traditional potato!

MadamSarcastra I'm not a fan of the sweets, but it looks lovely. Better yet, I bookmarked a new recipe site! YAY!

mackiesgirl That is wonderful! I wonder if that could be modified to make a french canadian butter tart? or sugar pie? Christmas is coming. mmmm butter tarts....
