sorry - only just checked in here and saw this! Been off for a while
I haven't done a lot of French cooking, as it's not my favourite cuisine. I've made a great vegan creme caramel (which was surprisingly easy) and a delicious fruity clafoutis as well. I didn't end up getting good photos of either. So they never ended up on the blog
Closest I got was Guadeloupe, which is a Caribbean Island but French colony -
Not that French, although my chokoe gratin recipe is quite French if you sub out the chokoe for the more traditional potato!
Hope you found some good ideas!

I was surprise at how delicious this was, I thought this classic British dessert was going to be really sickly sweet but it's perfect!
