I love mushrooms but strangely never tried shiitake! Next grocery I'm getting some I really see those in salad or sandwich.

beanspud I'll try this in the future, but I'll be subbing the salt with Bragg's liquid aminos or Dulse. I try to avoid adding unnecessary salt if I can help it. Looks good though.

This looks SO good I had to share it, as soon as I get my hands on some mushrooms I'm doing this! drool.gif

Also for those who don't feel like watching a video someone on reddit was nice enough to type out the recipe, there's nothing to it:
Place sliced shiitake mushrooms with 2-3 T EVOO in a bowl mix until well coated. Sprinkle in some sea salt. Place onto a baking sheet and roast in oven at 350ºF for close to an hour - stiring every 10 minutes.
