You guys are funny.. and that site cracked me up too! I guess I'm too young to remember everyone having "feathered" hair though. When my hair was super short I would either spike it up all over or I would comb it down and flip the ends out like in Sally's cute pictures. DannyKass.. bangs are when you have longer hair all over and then you cut the hair in the very front short. Used to be they were cut straight across the forehead.. Like the girl on the left on this page..http://www.hair-styles.org/fl4.html |

Ok I have a hair question of a similar nature! What are bangs? I hear the expression a lot on American sites... But I can't work it out!! Is it just a fringe? |

Meo | When I had really short hair, I had a "duck butt" in the back. Now I'd flip mine out because it's so long, if it weren't so limp. |

Michael | Someone told me they had one and I had never heard of it. |

Skylark | Maybe he heard it in a conversation and wanted to know what it meant. I didn't know what teased hair was until I was past old enough to know. |

I'm so curious why Michael asked the question! I would considered SallyK's hair to be the current "flipped" style. I've thought about getting something similar, but in a longer length. |

I wear my hair flipped out. I don't know if that's what you're looking for though. https://www.veggieboards.com/pics/sho...00&ppuser=1544 Let me guess, your new internet love interest wears her hair like that sometimes?? ![]() |

I used to use gel and a hairblower to get it "in to shape" back in the eighties. (I don't think it was normal for a male teenager to have a hairblower ![]() I had something that looked like the left "person", but now I've changed to something simular to the person on the right side. http://www.parool.nl/images/brood-was1.jpg |
