It's good to meet you all. My name is Shelly.

I have been vegan on and off since 2009 and have especially gotten back into veganism, mostly for health reasons but I have grown to care very much about animal welfare. As such, I'm going to school to be a vet tech and I hope to work with exotic birds sometime in the future, giving them medicine and taking care of them. I have a bird of my own, Noisybird, that I unofficially adopted from my mom-in-law, and two cats. I live with my boyfriend, mom-in-law, and yes, Noisybird, in East Missouri. I love hiking and doing yoga as well.

That pretty much sums it up for me. I hope to see some of you around the boards!
