I was so disappointed when I heard about McDonald's fries. My sister has been vegetarian for almost 20 years and used to treat herself to their fries all the time because she loved them so much. ![]() Quote:
I didn't notice any weird filmy feeling on their fries....but now I probably will! ![]() Quote:
I was surprised that my boyfriend and I were able to find the veggie burger at a BK at a truck stop off the interstate last weekend when we were on a road trip. It was in a weird place on the menu though (just like the pic someone posted on another reply). Their fries are ok, but not the best imo. I like Wendy's and Chick Fil A fries the best (I don't worry about the cross contamination thing much either). My favorite is to get the fries and a frosty and dip the fries in the Frosty, even when i was an omni. ![]() |

I used to really like the Wendy's fries, though I haven't been there in a while. Since I eat there so often, I haven't tried the new ones yet, but I'm already disappointed in the fact that they changed the old ones, which were always my favorite fast food fries, even back when I was an omni and ate McD's. --Fromper ![]() |

But i guess it's different in certain countries (i live in England). Yeah, if you look at the ingredients on the USA site, it will list beef. |

Agree on the new Wendy's fries. I have tried them twice, and both times, they left an odd aftertaste in my mouth. They also were overcooked and dry. Maybe I just have a bad Wendy's. BK's fries are just OK. I don't have them very often. Anymore when I get a craving for fries, I hit my local diner. They have takeout and do a great job with fries. |

It's usually under the Other BK Favorites list, not pictured like the meat burgers. It should be but one of The BKs here doesnt have it and doesnt know why.....LOL. ![]() Quote:

I don't care about that kind of cross contamination. |

Burger King's fries defintely leave a film. It's gross. The old Wendy's fries were awesome. The new ones, not so much. It's just as well though. I ate the old ones far too often. Now I no longer crave Wendy's fries. ![]() |

I agree on the weird filmy feeling since the mid 90s fry change. I prefer the onion rings but they don't like me. |

I've only had Whataburger fries once, when I lived in Texas. They weren't worth $2. Meh. Fries get eaten first, immediately. That's the rule. You can put the ketchup on a napkin in your lap, dip with one hand, and drive home with the other ![]() |

What do you guys think of Whataburger's fries? They're vegetarian, and I always thought they tasted very similar to Mcdonald's fries. I haven't had any in a long time, but I remember liking them just as much. New fries? They're different? I haven't had any in a long time. I always liked them all right, but how are they different now? Quote:
Burger King's fries have always been better than McDonald's, too, and at Burger King you can get a BK Veggie, too.
Burger King's fries have always been pretty mediocre to me. To me they're just generic cheapo tasting fries. Quote:
Yea, no kidding. And don't even think about putting them in the fridge cause then they'll taste like crap. |

They can be, if not cooked properly. For the most part, they're crispy when I get them. The old fries were good, the new fries are even better. Wendy's Fries + BBQ = ![]() |

vegan724 | I haven't had wendy's fries in probably about 5 years, if not more, but I remember always thinking they were too soggy. |

Yeah, I don't like BK fries either. Their onion rings are good. RL, have you seen my Wendy's check ins on FB? ![]() |
