That's awesome. Vancouver definitely has some pretty incredible veg*n restaurants. Love Victoria for that too.

That's sad, but I think things are looking better these days. We have Fairy Cakes and Edible Flours and Karmavore that are all vegan and a few random coffee shops and Whole Foods and stuff around that have vegan cupcake options.

Kari I would imagine the savory ones to be something like a corn muffin type thing..."cupcake" is probably the wrong word because it invokes thoughts of sweetness. One of the recipe sites I have followed in the past has lasagna and taco cupcake recipes. They use wonton wrappers to hold a filling in a cup shape. That's about where the similarities to cupcakes end.
