I LOVE Tofurky products... and I LOVE daiya...

I want this pizza. Badly.

fadeaway1289 Thanks for the reviews. I was really curious about it. Sounds like it's not really worth the money and I'm assuming it's pretty pricey. I've heard some people say it tastes like regular cheap frozen pizzas like Totino's.

AddieB I had the pepperoni one. It was ok. And once it started cooling off I thought it was kinda gross. I probably wouldn't buy one again...

HNV Whole Foods Vegan pizza of the week is a Field Roast sausage, onion and peppers, with Daiya.. Its scrumptious!!

yum!!

so even vegan college students can still gain the pizza induced freshman 15? haha

Actually, I was pretty surprised at how low the calories/fat were.

But that's probably why I wasn't bowled over by the taste.

Joan Kennedy Thank you for posting about this, I just smacked myself on the forehead. I've got flatbread rounds at home, tomatoes, onions, and three colors of peppers, Italian "sausage" tofurkey, and Daiya "mozzarella." Tonight I am making pizza!

Will Penguin I had the sausage/veggies one last week. It was ok but nothing too imprssive- I'd rather buy the cheeseless Amy's one and just add some Daiya.

mondayschild Waah theres nothing like that in Aus

Consider it done. As soon as I make it, I will make it pose for pr0n.

I have no idea... I've never used it before! I will probably do half pepperoni, half Italian sausage to taste test 'em. Really make it vegan junk food. Sometimes, you just gotta DO that. I went all healthy and made really good veggie-heavy lasagna the other night, so I'll be eating that for a couple days before I get around to the junk food. But I'm SO looking forward to it!

I went to London for a week and I was pleased (and incredibly jealous) that practically everything vegetarian is labeled as so. It was like I had entered some sort of dream world. Australia is well behind.

Those pizzas on the website do look pretty delicious, though. If I can find one I may have to try it.

Food Fight! My new go-to all vegan grocery store! I haven't had one yet, but I'll be heading to Food Fight tomorrow and I'll pick some up and report back to you all (if they have any left, they've sold out already but got a new shipment today).

GhostUser I am SO jealous. I have never seen a Tofurky product here in Canada... I don't think any stores will carry it. It's annoying sometimes, I've never even seen vegan soy cheese in a supermarket, let alone pizza! Wow
04-26-2010 11:36 AM
Muffin_398 Are they available in Canada?? I'd love those!!! What about the Daiya Cheese. Is that available is Canada?

True dat.

And I'm currently flying in the lollercopter about that photo! Random extra arms in pictures is always funny to me.

I called around and my stores haven't gotten them yet. Hopefully they will soon though. I like the fact that the crust is whole wheat (much tastier and filling than white in my opinion).

*LoveBugMama* Hmmph. I am jealous. Big time. Here in Norway I can get ONE, yes ONE, vegetarian pizzaoption in the stores. For real.
