Eleven Yea, this is nice. Just a simple no to foie gras being served.

Thanks to Leona and Peta.

MrFalafel Leona Lewis has praised Brit Awards organisers for dropping pate fois gras from the menu stars will tuck into at next week's bash.

Vegetarian Leona said: "As both a fan of the Brits and an animal rights campaigner I'm delighted that the Brits have changed their menu - foie gras is produced in such a cruel and disgusting way it would have been beyond disappointing for the record industry to endorse such a thing."

Peta raised the issue with music industry body the BPI, which organises the Brits, pointing out the foodstuff is not made in the UK because of the cruelty in the production process which sees geese force-fed until their livers swell.

Brits bosses confirmed foie gras has been taken off the menu.

Sure its just a small thing but good publicity reminding people that foie gras is exceedingly cruel.
