That's funny! I bought my first jar a few weeks ago. I thought it would last a long time since I'm the only one that's going to eat it. Oops! It's already gone. |

Vegenaise = probably my favourite vegan product of all time. Ever. SO, SO GOOD. I probably consume more from the knife when I'm making a sandwich than I do from the actual sandwich. IT'S FAIRY DUST IN VEGAN FORM, I TELL YOU! |

EXACTLY! It IS mayonaise. An egg-free one. |

froggythefrog | It's closest to Hellman's Real Mayonaisse. The important thing is it does not taste like a "mayonaise substitute" and I would consider it to be genuinely mayonaise -- just not an egg-based one. |

bluebird | It's really good; great to use as a base for creamy salad dressings. |

lindamarie927 | Yes, I think it was made to be a vegan substitute for mayonnaise, so you probably will not like it if you don't like mayo. I find it very much like mayo, but I like it better without the eggy-taste. |

Never say never. As I said above, I didn't like mayo either, but when I tried Vegenaise, I totally fell in LOVE with the stuff. (I like the Grapeseed Oil variety WAY better than the regular, and I even think that's pretty tasty!!!) Can't keep it in the house now or I'll come up with 37363536378 excuses to make sandwiches and potato salad. ![]() |

apple_tree | I think I'll have to try this "veganaise" out too.. I never liked mayonnaise or miracle whip but it seems that a lot of others who also never liked it now like this stuff. Off to the store to see if they have it which I think they doooo. |

Nickle00 | If you hated mayo I wouldn't get it. Veganaise is comparable to real mayo and nayonaise is comparable to miracle whip. IMO |

I hated mayonnaise most of my life, but gave it a chance again for some reason when I went vegetarian and fell in love... I cannot, however, stomach Miracle Whip. EW. So when I went vegan, I REALLY missed mayo... I just got my first jar of vegenaise and its GREAT, it tastes like the Hellman's mayo I used to eat. |

I was doing my own thing quietly and YOU are the one who created this post trying to make a big deal out of it. Keep flaming the fire. That must be what you want. |

I've never tasted Nasoya. Veganaise is like fairy giggles and sunshine. It kicks mayo's butt. TNS, call me when you market it! |

I never liked real mayo, so I didn't try Vegenaise for years, but WOW!!!!!!!!!!! It is amazing. I hate mustard even more though, so I cannot imagine any "mustard" flavor in it. But maybe there's something I'm not catching... I CAN tell you this: Vegenaise + Bacon Salt (which is vegetarian/vegan, by the way) = an ALL VEGAN version of Baconnaise = food of the Gods..... Died and gone to Heaven, I swear. I should market the stuff...................... |

I agree that it's mayo and a hint of mustard. I's a thing of beauty..![]() |

ReaganNC | It tastes more like mayo than miracle whip to me as well. I always hated miracle whip. I dig vegenaise--especially the kind with grapeseed oil. Ahh who am I kidding, the regular kind is great, too. I think I'm going to order some of their salad dressings from their website. Oh the love! Love is right...whoever said that earlier. *flitters out of the room* |
