ElaineVigneault Vegan Potluck at the Henderson Multi-Generational Center (HMGC) room B on

Friday Oct. 3rd 5:30pm Vegan Potluck

Show up, introduce yourself, and eat some tasty vegan food. Invite your friends!

Please bring a vegan dish or drink. It can be home-made or store-bought, we don't care. Just make sure it's 100% vegan. We'll supply plates, napkins, cups, utensils, and nametags. (Please, no alcohol; it's not allowed at the multi-gen center. Sorry.)

Need ideas for what to bring? Take a look at this page:

If you want, you could just stop at Whole Foods (which is right near the Multi-Gen Center) and pick something up.

The multi-gen center is right off the freeway at Green Valley Parkway and Paseo Verde Parkway near Green Valley Ranch Casino/Hotel, The District (with Whole Foods), and the Paseo Verde Library. It's really pretty easy to find. You'll probably want to take the 215 to Green Valley Parkway, head south a block and a half and turn left onto the road to the MultiGen Center.

This potluck is open to the public. And it's not just for locals. If you're just visiting Vegas, please still come on by!

There will be children there, but no companion animals. (If you need a companion animal sitter, I can recommend one.)

We want this to be a sort of vegan outreach type of event. If all goes well, it will be a regular, monthly event.

Afterwards, if you'd like, you can go to Shakespeare in the Park at 7pm in Sonata Park in Seven Hills. Admission is free. The play is Romeo and Juliet. (More performances will take place Saturday and Sunday.) Here are the details about that:

At least a few potluckers will be going to the outdoor play after.

Or maybe you'll want to have drinks at one of the bars at The District or Green Valley Ranch?

Obviously, it's up to you. We scheduled this meetup a little early so you'd have time to take advantage of Friday night after you eat your tasty vegan meal at the potluck!

No RSVP necessary. The room can hold up to 50 people and I seriously doubt we'll get that many.

But if you want to RSVP or join the meetup group, go here:
