starling Breakfast: oatmeal



Lunch: Bi Bim Bop (lots of cold veggies, hot rice, and spicy sauce)



Dinner: Hot and sour soup with rice noodles in it

Fyvel Weird food day for me today - been busy with no time to cook, and work was hectic so my eating schedule was way off.



Bfast: Kashi Cinnamon Harvest & rice milk (the store was out of Autumn Wheat )

Snack: Coffee, Banana

Lunch: PB & J sammich, soy yogurt

Snack: An orange and some grapes

Dinner: 1/2 Amy's roasted veggie pizza, soy yogurt

Rani Had toast with EB and strawberry preserves for breakfast.



Lunch will be the last of a Tofu Leek Quiche I made a few days ago.

Snack - Trio bar

Dinner will be corn tortillas with refried beans and salsa. Then a fudgy brownie for dessert.

Lunch: Hummus sandwich on whole wheat bread, with tomato and pickles, and soy cheese.

jfrey I have been obsessed with this forum for the past few days,i've spent all my free time here but this is the first time i'm writing anything!

B: Whole grain toast, covered in mashed avocado and slices of cucumber

L: Spicy Thai peanut noodles that i made last night (amazing), and a slice of Amy's vegan pizza

S: A pear and a couple pieces of jurky

D: This is the REALLY exciting part! I live in a suburb of Chicago where when you say vegan people either become confused or disgusted. Meaning my grocery store doesn't offer much variety. BUT!! My amazing boyfriend went to the city for work today and visited a Whole Foods and bought me Follow Your Heart mozzarella and Yves pepperoni and some fresh whole wheat pizza dough! So i imagine you can guess what we are making for dinner!!

I can't wait to eat all my other yummy gifts! Tofurky sausage, hot dogs, NUTRITIONAL YEAST, and many more. I'm such a lucky gal!

pavut Mashed sweet potatoes with pear, a little maple syrup, a little margarine and soy cream.



Then, I made a really east artichoke pate, and ate that on rye crispy bread. It was sooo good!

Fyvel Weird day for me. I was busy for a huge chunk of the afternoon (at a car dealership) and I stupidly didn't eat much before I went.



B: PB banana sammich on whole wheat, rice milk

L: Leftover channa masala, a bowl of strawberries, and a soy yogurt

S: Pretzels (the only thing remotely vegan at the dealership)

D: 1 hard shell and 1 soft shell taco filled with black beans, veggie ground round, guac, lettuce, tomatoes, mango lime salsa, salsa, etc.

Cornflower Breakfast: Autumn wheats cereal with soy milk

Snack: Nature Valley granola bar, tea with sugar and soy milk

Lunch: Small bowl of Oriental Flavor Top Ramen, triscuits w/ peanut butter and raisins, apple slices

Snack: Peach soy yogurt

Dinner: Homemade vegan mac 'n "cheese" (see my blog for the recipe!), an orange

Snack: non-dairy chocolate chips

D: fettuccine with pine nuts/tomato/broccoli, salad with homemade croûtons, iced tea

Dessert: black tea with sweet poppyseed bread



add a fruit popsicle and homemade biscotti to that. late night snacks!

Cornflower Breakfast: Smoothie/shake - 1 cup soy milk, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1 banana, and 1 Tbsp hemp protein powder



Lunch: Tofurky & vegenaise sandwich on whole wheat, pear slices, calcium-fortified orange juice, and 1 Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie (Vive Le Vegan) with vanilla soymilk



Snack: Fresh pear



Dinner: (haven't had it yet) Middle Eastern Rice w/ Lentils and roasted cauliflower



I don't technically consider myself vegan anymore but I eat that way 99% of the time.

Fyvel B: Banana, apple cinnamon oatmeal (the McDougalls instant kind)

L: Leftover veggie curry

S: Grape tomatoes, banana bread with EB

D: Going to be tofu stir fried veggies and veggie fried rice (take out).

ETA: The take out was really good but I ate way too much of it. They included two fortune cookies but they have 210 calories each So not worth that many calories for such a small snack



I'll probably have popcorn with nutritional yeast for my evening snack

SonicEarth I'm actually vegetarian, but everything I ate today was vegan.



For breakfast, I has an English muffin with hummus. For lunch, I had pita bread with hummus stuffed with tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers and sundried tomatoes. For dinner I had a salad with the same ingredients in the pita sandwich with balsamic vinegar. Oh, and I also had a banana for a snack. I also drank plenty of green tea, yum. ^_^

Emily78 well... I just ate 3/4 of a chocolove bar ...other than that, let's see.. I had cinnamon life cereal with light vanilla soymilk for breakfast, er... lunch, I guess. Later had some banana chips. Supper was a salad (lettuce, yellow and red peppers, carrots) with Goddess dressing and an Amy's Texas Veggieburger (yum!) on wheat bread, for lack of suitable buns. I guess while I'm at it, I'll admit I had a diet mt. dew (I'm trying to quit pop all together).

Fyvel Today I had:



B: PB banana sammich on whole wheat (and that's actually the first time I've had it in a while!) and decaf coffee with vanilla silk creamer



S: (post workout): Smoothie with banana, rice milk, mixed berries, flax oil, hemp seed powder.



L: Leftover vegetable curry with rice



S: 16 oz Fresh carrot juice



And dinner is going to be black eyed peas in tomatoes over rice. Should have some veggies with that but the fridge is bare and I don't want to go get any groceries right now. I'm sure I'll find something else to go with it.

gillibean I made banana nut bread and cinnamon raisin bread today. First time for either and first successful bread made by hand I tried to make pitas too but they failed miserably.
