I LOVE oregon trail!!! Does anyone remember "jordons". Michael Jordon came out with his own athletic shoes & everyone thought they were amazing. You were the shiznit in middle school if you wore them. My whole girls bsktball team had matching pairs. Does anyone else remember the teletubbies phase? |

It is weird that both the 80s and 90s list are so similar. But I guess it makes sense. Most of both apply to me. I was a child in the 80's and preteen and teen in the 90's. So, did anyone else wear 90210 perfume?

I spent most of the 90's (well the late 80's into the late 90's) under the influence of drugs and alcohol (or recovering from the night before of drugs and alcohol). I was either messed up or I was suffering the aftereffects of being messed up. Acid was my drug of choice for several years, and I was rip-roaring drunk 4-5 nights a week. But through it all, I was a hard-core stoner. I didn't hide it (hell, I never even hid the bong). I was a mess. over the last 8-10 years, I have learned moderation, and have given up most of my "meds". As I grew tired of them, they disappeared from my life. and I went completely clean and sober a few months ago. The 90's were without a doubt the greatest and most terrible time of my life. Parties, Concerts, Dead Shows, Festivals, Tie-Dyes, Dancing, Laughing and Friends. Poverty, Homelessness, Self-Destruction, Irresponsibility, Disappointment, Distrust, Criminal Behavior, Jail. And I'm still alive!!

Where's Waldo and Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego provided hours of entertainment for me. I wanted to be on the Carmen Sandiego TV show soooo bad. And he had one of those Mysterious Eye paintings, too. Remember, if you stared at it long enough, you saw something weird? I never saw nuthin'. (That stupid Mysterious Eye thing even turned up on an episode of Seinfeld!)

ohhhh i cried endlessly when mufasa died...and i still feel like doing it when i watch the vid with my little cousin....but i am brave for her sake! and my sneakers with lights were the ultimate in coolness especially the princess ones
