I think I likely have a perforated eardrum. I didn't have any symptoms since when I posted, but they're back again today.
Not too happy about this, but I only have myself to blame.

Could it be your sinuses? Sometimes, when they're acting up I get anything from a ringing ear to feeling like I'm in a tin can. It's not always balanced.
I'm not sure how exhaustion effects your hearing. Is it a result of dehydration? I have all sorts of hearing ailments, but I'm not always sure why they occur.

I'm thinking it might have been from exhaustion! The sensation persisted for the rest of the day, but so far today I haven't experienced it. I'm a little less tired today than I was yesterday.
I'm pretty paranoid about my ears, since I spent 18 months dealing with a patulous eustachian tube in my other ear.

|synergy||I have felt something similar with water in my ear. Had you taken a shower or been in water earlier in the day?|

|meatless||I don't think so... I have walked down that hall several times a day for the past year and a half. Plus, it's carpeted, and later when I went outside, the sensation was still there.|

the echo in the hall.
I assume it's a corridor with a stone floor and lot's of glass in the area, you get echo's in those, only to be heared when it's quiet

I was just walking down the hall at work, when I realized I was hearing sort
of an echo or something of my steps in my right ear. Maybe it wasn't so much an echo as a reverberation....
This is the first time I've ever noticed anything like that. It ceased when I stopped walking.
Any idea what it could be?
