Bizarro is my favorite In fact, I'd really like his stuff in a book if he has one. I should search. OMG, the last two archived strips on the website you posted were so funny, I LOVE it! ![]() ![]() |

Cool idea! I actually signed up quite a while ago to receive Mutts via email every day. I just love that comic! Especially little Shtinky Puddin. He's soooo cute. I have Mutts comics taped to my monitor at work too. I'm such a dork. I didn't know that about Bizarro. I'll have to read it more often. |

http://www.kingfeatures.com/features...arro/about.htm http://muttscomics.com/art/dailyarch...e=28&year=2005 Dan Piraro, creator of "Bizarro", and Patrick McDonnell, creator of "Mutts", have something in common besides being cartoonists. They have both won Genesis Awards for their cartooning. This is because they both use their comic strips as outlets to say positive things about animals. Mutts uses a cat and dog as the main characters, and shows their lives from their point of view. Bizarro replaced "The Far Side" as a loony look at life. Not every strip focuses on animal welfare, but it's always a treat when the next one pops up unexpectedly. I figured, since not everybody is lucky enough to have these strips run in their local newspaper, I'd bring them to VB. Enjoy! |
