My legs deserve a day off, so no running today. I think I'll let my legs rest tomorrow too. I did a good bicep workout today and I'll beat my abs up sometime later. Have a good weekend all, rigmarole |

kathym- rollerblading is so much fun!!! Take it slow until you get used to it, but then you can cut loose! ![]() Speaking of which, I did 40 mins of rollerblading in the park today. Once I cool down a little I will stretch too. |

Between you and mean, I have little wrinkles around my mouth. /gasp And my cute dimples are leaving fine lines! :sob: I'm just waiting for my breasts to hit the ground any day now. Of course, at least then I get to have reduction surgery free of charge. But still! ![]() |

4 min walk - 1 min run - 4 min walk - 40 sec run - 5 min walk The walks were brisk, at least hehe I don't understand it. When I was 19 and had gained 25lbs, I felt alive. It was amazing to feel energy. I decided I wanted to jog that day. First time in my life. I jumped out of the house and ran for two hours. Now, I get winded after 40 seconds. Dang, I'm getting old. ![]() |

Ok, I'm buying rollerblades this weekend and I'm scared to death! I haven't as much as roller scated in years. I wish there was somewhere that I could go and do this where no one would see me crash and burn. But oh well if they do, if I can make one persons day; then I'm a happy hamster! I love the picture VegAnaconda!!!!! |

Cute pic, VegAnaconda. ![]() Today: 2-4 hours of dance rehearsals (depending on how bad it is) and the show (which will include a ballet-class type warm-up before the performance). I'll probably burn more calories stressing out in the wings than during the actual dancing! ![]() |

kraftykraft | Ho ho - I haven't been to the gym in about a week and a half. However I have been in the process of moving and I think moving more than makes up for the no gym. I have been unpacking and breaking down boxes for three straight days. Then I have to break up the boxes and take them down to my car (down a flight of stairs) and take them to the dumpster. On Wednesday I made four trips to the dumpster. However I can't wait to start going to the gym again. I miss working out. |

Hi, Hamsters! I learned several more moves in my Tai Chi class last night (bringing the total to 17) and got a LOT of good stretching while there. It's always surprising to me that such a slow, peaceful form of exercise can make itself known through my muscles the next day ![]() Today I jumped in the pool bright and early and swam about 35 laps. I think tomorrow I'm going to take a break (I try to take 2 rest days a week). Have a great weekend, folks! Keep up the good work! ![]() |

Went rollerblading in the park again today. Must have sweated a gallon...I think this heat wave here in Cali is my punishment for having complained about the cold all winter in Sweden. ![]() |

Flower... wear your helmet!!!! ![]() Here's a public service announcement for you for inspiration: A couple years ago I watched as a car (randomly and stupidly) swerved behind a biker. The biker was hit, flipped onto the hood (cracking the windshield) and rolled onto the pavement. Those at the scene were convinced the helmet saved his life. Trust me... with how he hit the car and how he fell, his head would have been a bloody mess at best. I've got plenty more stories... I can post one every time you ride helmetless. As far as my hamstering today: much dancing, and much stretching, as planned. Dress rehearsal was awful (costumes ripped, cues were off, traffic problems on stage...), so we've called even more rehearsals for tomorrow. It'll be over soon. |

Yea! Kitzy's wearing a helmet. Now we have to get Flower to wear one and help Bunny figure out what to do about the hair - maybe a braid or pull in back in a pony tail if it's long enough. There were two serious biking accidents here in recent weeks. An 11 year old boy was hit by a truck. He suffered several broken bones and a head injury. He wasn't wearing a helmet. In another accident two cyclists ran into eachother at 30-35 mph and a group of I think it was 6 went down. Two people broke their clavicles. They were pretty lucky actually. Probably they were wearing helmets. Today's workout: 11 mile bike ride |

Hi Hamsters! Yesterday did this KILLER leg and upper back workout. Did lots of pull ups, chin ups and all sorts of nasty stuff.......today........I am cursing and trying to extend my arms! Hate it when that happens! Today.....taught a 45 minute step class, followed by a 60 minute Body Pump (weight training) class. The a/c blew up yesterday so it was like teaching in HELL!!!!!!! I don't think I stopped sweating until I got home.........some 45 minutes later. YIKES! Tomorrow............I have a long, 45 minute run. Like Slynny said to me, via pm........you need GILLS to live here in Maryland in the summer! yikes! I think this weekend, we may do another 30-35 mile bike ride on the C&O Canal. What an awesome ride! |
