VeganForHealth ...Interesting.

I'll have to see if it works any better than the Veggie dog treats I bought for her.

Jinga Jake and Addie love these homemade treats

Ingredients

2C all purpose flour

2C whole wheat flour

2C cornmeal

2T brewers yeast powder

2T dried parsley flakes

(The recipe also says to add 2T garlic powder, but I have since heard that garlic is bad for dogs.)

pinch of dried basil

1/2C canola oil

2C water

Optional add ins: Oats (Replace some of dry ingredients) or Natural PB.

1) Preheat oven to 350F.

2) Combine ingredients into dough mixture. Add a little extra water if too dry.

3) Roll out dough to 1/4" thickness and cut into shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

4) Bake for 40 minutes or until hard. Check frequently.

When stored in airtight container, treats will last up to a year.
