TofurkyZombie Awww that sucks they didn't have more sales. That sign she made is cute and funny but sad and discouraging at the same time. What is wrong with people? Why are they so happy to be stuck in their boring, unhealthy ruts? I would have been ecstatic to find a raw food anything anywhere!!

I totally DID do that! I think the lady appreciated it too, because they didnt have amazing sales. She hung up a sign that said DON'T BE AFRAID on the booth I was so grateful to them though, and the food was SO GOOD.

Walter Well, I helped her cause because I also had some of the raw spaghetti! I was there on Saturday. Not only was I floored by the raw vegan food there, but the person in front of me had a "Burlington, Vermont" T-shirt on and I'm a Vermonter.

I almost started a post about this myself.

dakinirawk Hey there,

Just wanted to let you all know that I just came back from the Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans and there was a raw food booth there. It totally blew me away. I just assumed I would starve there, cuz all the festivals I know of just have things like turkey legs. There was a booth that had raw zucchinni spaghetti with tomato sauce and dehydrated nut pate crumbled on top. YUM. I was sooo thrilled. Im not raw, but vegan, and I just gushed to the woman about how thankful I was to them. She said they didnt do as well as they thought they would, but I could tell she was glad to help the few people like me there who wouldnt have been hardly able to eat otherwise. It was so nice. Great to see the "family" out representin. Just wanted to share.

XOXO

Beth
