Nope- sun and moon BOTH in Leo... err, I mean Cancer. (I don't believe in astrology, but I think it's fun. Go figure!) I think the next poster is glad I can't think of any predictions about them... so they can get to make a prediction without answering any potentially embarrassing questions. |

I like looking at the stars at night. Does that count? One year, a couple of decades ago, or so, while I was looking at the stars a few days after my birthday in late October, I noticed that the constellation Virgo was positioned prominently in the sky. This puzzled me because astrologers claim that people, like me, who are born between October 23 and November 21 are Scorpios. Anyway, I didn't really think much more about it until about a decade later when I came across a newspaper article written by Ted Rath. This is what it said: " Better check your horoscope -- according to astronomers, your sign might not actually be your sign. / Scientific star-gazers say the 12 Zodiac signs we have come to memorize as handily as our own birthdays are actually out of date by a few thousand years. / In fact, there should be a 13th sign called Ophiuchus between Scorpio and Sagittarius, which changes the dates of other signs. / ' Precession has shifted our view of the stars significantly over a few thousand years, so the sun is no longer situated in front of certain star groupings on astrologically appointed dates,' Mary Lou Whitehorne, president of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, as well as an astronomy educator and author, told QMI Agency in an e-mail. / Precession is the change in the orientation of Earth's axis over the years, / Because of this gradual shift, 'things are off by about one month, which is equivalent to one constellation (or sun sign) of the zodiac,' since the times of ancient Greece, when the signs were first created, she said. That means the dates of the signs are out of whack and many of us born Virgos could actually be Leos, many born Aries are actually Pisces, and so on. Others -- born between Nov. 29 - Dec. 17 -- should be following the little known sign of Ophiuchus, the snake." -- excerpt from a newspaper article provided by QMI Agency I think the next poster was born a Sagittarius, er ...Ophiuchius, I mean. -- lol |

Hmmmm... I might have a better vocabulary than rylielovessoftball... I do have a rather extensive one, if I do say so myself. But rylie undoubtedly plays softball better than I do. I think the next poster finds astronomy fascinating, whether or not they have a telescope themselves. |

Nope but I used to play rounders, a similar game, in the 1950s. I think the next poster is a professional ecdysiast working under the stage name Binkie Gruntfuttock... |

No, I don't own a bicycle. I don't own one because I have bad eyes. You see, when I ride a bike, I usually look like an accident waiting for a place to happen. -- lol I think the next poster is a pet owner. |
