The commonly accepted term for your diet would be ovo-vegetarian. Regarding almond milk, it is really pretty dilute if you are buying store bought, so, I really doubt it has much to offer besides the vitamins and minerals it is fortified with. I believe you are trying to gain weight? If so, soy is by far the better choice. Almond milk is very low in calories, about 40-60 per serving depending on which variety, whereas soy has around 100 calories per serving. Soy also has a fair amount of protein, while almond milk has almost none. As far as eating almonds, they are calorie dense, so they are a good choice if you are trying to gain weight. Of course, you shouldn't eat them to the exclusion of other healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes. |

That's not bad, right? That on many days I eat a whole lotta almonds and have also started mixing it up milk-wise with almond milk rather than just soy? |
