Valley Vegfest 2015

Valley Vegfest 2015 will take place on March 28, featuring speakers, vegan food vendors, veg-friendly products and services, and non-profit organizations dedicated to animal welfare, healthy living, and environmental advocacy. Last year, over 1,100 people attended the first ever Valley Vegfest. The event will again take place at J.F.K. Middle School on Bridge Road in Northampton, from 10:00 – 4:00. Admission is free-- donations are welcomed.

The featured speakers will be Kathy Stevens, founder and director of Catskill Animal Sanctuary; Reed Mangels, nutrition adviser for the national, non-profit Vegetarian Resource Group and columnist for Vegetarian Journal; Pattrice Jones, co-founder of VINE Sanctuary in Springfield, Vermont; Tim Van Orden, a vegan athlete and raw food proponent; and Mary Lawrence, vegan chef and author. There will also be activities for kids, demonstrations, and Q&A discussion sessions throughout the day. More details at
