Anyone going to Veggie Fest this year? I'm actually available to go on Sat, but my plans aren't finalized yet.

Veggie fest was a lot of fun. They had a live theater crew which was entertaining and they had a guy doing magic tricks. Lots of booths. They charged for the talks for some reason. We all thought it was quite odd to charge for a public talk. The live music, at least this morning, was pretty good.

Lots of food there. They used the ticket system which I'm not a fan of. I ended up giving my last 2 tickets to a little boy. I had some vegan donut holes and a fruit smoothy.

I went. Thought Chicago Diner was going to be there, but they weren't. This made me sad. I was ready to buy like $50 of Reubens and chocolate "shakes"

I wish they'd put more vegan/vegetarian info booths up, stuff like that. Outside of the food demonstrations it's pretty bare, which is odd for a supposed "veggie" fest...

I was sad to not see the Chicago Diner as well. I love that place.
