I'm visiting Brendan Brazier in L.A. at the moment. It's awesome! I leave in a couple of days but I'll be back in Feb, March and May Hope to meet some of you soon. I just went to Real Food Daily. It was great!
Ok I'm not from California anymore but I lived there 18 years out of 23 so that has to count for something right? Just showing the Cali board some love. I try to visit family once a year and I have to bounce around from San Jose, Santa Cruz, Modesto. Now I'm over in the frozen tundra that is Wisconsin (but I like it so its not as bad as I made it sound).
Sounds sort of familiar. I have to bounce around from San Jose to Modesto to visit family often. And I suppose if I had the means for airfare, I could make an attempt to visit the many, many relatives I have in Wisconsin. Thanks for stopping by. Keep warm!
Weekends are better for me since I work weekdays and nights I'm like the walking dead. Santa Monica and West L.A. are obviously more convenient for me, but I'm willing to do some driving if choosing, say, a central location is better for everyone. I don't know who else would be willing to come. Are there any awesome veg*an restaurants in the Inland Empire that you were thinking of?
I'm going to San Diego this weekend (27th) to celebrate me and my boyfriend's anniversary! 3 years now. I went there for my birthday last year and had a blast! The most memorable thing... even though the privacy sign was on the door and the top was locked, we got the door open on us when we were... indecent I don't think he saw anything though. Got $100 off our stay though, so that was a plus. It was my 21st birthday, but I had a REALLY bad canker sore and had a hard time eating and drinking (even water). Had my first Midori Sour
Anybody still around in SoCal for a meetup? I propose two of 'em.
One in the first half of the year up in the L.A., OC or Inland Empire area.
Second one in the second half of the year in San Diego, especially if Heather (danaskully64) is living down there then. I'd have to drive down there, but I haven't been to San Diego (despite my relative proximity to the area) in a million years, so I think it would be fun to have a meetup in SD. Or I could take the train. THAT would be interesting.
