I, uh, don't live in Connecticut (I live in Japan), but I must say it's awesome, especially seeing as my supposedly liberal and tolerant homestate of California has just banned it.
If I do make it over to New England sometime (got friends in Boston area and want to also go to New York and New Jersey), that makes me want to spend my tourist dollar in Connecticut too!

You should go to Lake Compounce! It's an amusement park in Bristol that's famous for the Boulder Dash roller coaster. However, this idea will only work out in summer or in October (That's another cool thing they do there, too. They set up a 45-minute-long walk through "The Haunted Graveyard" on the very edge of the park. It's quite impressive, if you like haunted stuff. =P) There's some interesting stuff to do around here; I'll give you more info later if you want. =]
Back on topic (sort of!), it makes me happy to think that people who previously never thought of Connecticut as anywhere special now have a new appreciation for it. ^.^
