My sister is getting married in september and having an all vegan wedding, but we have one problem - we are having trouble finding someone to make a vegan wedding cake (preferably NOT fruit). Does anyone know of anyone in the Brighton/London/Norfolk area who makes vegan celebration cakes?

Yes it looks lovely, this was the original person we spoke to unfortuantly "I will be on maternity leave from 1st July 2008 until 1st March 2009. If you would like to contact me about a cake after this date I will still be checking my email so please do contact me" http://www.icedgemcakes.co.uk/contact.htm

Well, what I did many many years ago when there was no such thing as vegan catering was to approach a local person that did wedding cakes and talk to them about making me a custom vegan wedding cake. The person I talked to had no problem with this and I even supplied a basic recipe. The cake came out perfectly.

Give a local person a call and have a chat.

Have you tried contacting the Vegan Society? I think they have a list of vegan bakeries. I know I saw a booth at this fayre in Reading, but I can't remember the name of the place.
